Exact answers, and the working that produced them.
Fracsy is a calculator first. Everything else exists to make the answer understandable.
- 01
Exact arithmetic, always
BigInt rationals throughout, so 1/3 + 1/4 is 7/12 and never 0.5833333. There is no float in the engine and therefore no rounding drift to explain away.
- 02
One expression, every kind of number
Whole numbers, proper and improper fractions, mixed numbers and decimals in the same expression, with brackets.
- 03
One answer, four formats
Every result appears at once as a mixed number, an improper fraction, a decimal and a percent. Tap any of them to copy.
- 04
Visual models
Bars, pies and number lines that animate the operands and the result. The fastest way to make a fraction click for someone who is stuck.
- 05
Nine focused tools
A hub of single-purpose tools on top of the same engine, from simplifying a fraction to adding tape-measure inches.
- 06
History that stays yours
Recent calculations are kept on the device so you can tap one to bring it back. Clear it whenever you like. It is never transmitted.
- 07
Light and dark, six accents
Follows the system theme, or pick one. Generous key targets, tabular figures, and motion that only ever confirms an action.
- 08
Built for a cheap phone
Android 7.0 and up. Every feature works offline, on a 2 GB device, in airplane mode.
Nine tools on one engine.
Each one is a single screen that does a single job, using the same exact arithmetic as the calculator.

Nothing collected, because nothing is wanted.
Fracsy asks for no Android permissions, makes no network request and contains no analytics. The internet permission is removed from the released build, so this is a property of the software rather than a promise about it.
The released app cannot open a network connection. Android will not permit it.
