The agreement

These terms apply when you use kumkumhomes.site or any app published by Kumkum Homes. Using either means you accept them. If you do not, the remedy is simple: do not use the site, and uninstall the app.

Where an app store has its own terms, those also apply to your download and to any payment. Google Play distributes our Android apps under Google’s terms, which we do not control.

Your licence to use our apps

Our apps are free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use them on devices you control, for any purpose, personal or commercial.

You may not:

• Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute an app or a modified version of it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except to the extent that law expressly permits despite this restriction.
• Remove or alter any notice of ownership in it.
• Use our name, logo or app names in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.

We keep all rights we do not expressly grant here, including copyright in the software, the text on this site and the designs.

Accuracy of results

Our apps are calculation tools. We build them carefully and test them thoroughly, and Fracsy in particular uses exact arithmetic rather than floating point precisely so that its answers are not approximations.

Even so: check the result before you cut the timber, sit the exam, take the medicine or sign the contract. The apps are provided as an aid to your own judgement, not as a replacement for it, and we accept no liability for a decision taken on the strength of an answer they produced.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or withdraw an app or any part of this website at any time. We may stop publishing an app entirely. Nothing here promises that a particular app, feature or page will continue to exist.

We do not promise that the website will be uninterrupted or error free, although we would rather it were.

No warranty

The apps and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law allows, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kumkum Homes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the apps or this website.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Our apps are supplied free of charge. Where a total cap on liability is permitted, it is the amount you paid us, which is nothing.

Privacy

How we handle data is set out in the privacy policies, which form part of these terms. Each app has its own, and the website has its own.
