Does Fracsy cost anything?
No. Fracsy is free, with no advertising, no in-app purchases, no subscription and no paid tier. There is nothing to unlock.
Does Fracsy work without an internet connection?
Every feature works offline. The released app has the Android internet permission removed, so it cannot make a network connection at all, even if you wanted it to.
What permissions does Fracsy ask for?
None. The permission list in the released Android app is empty. Fracsy has no access to your camera, microphone, contacts, files, location or network.
Where is my calculation history stored?
On your device, in the app’s private storage, which Android keeps isolated from other apps. It is never uploaded. You can clear it from the History screen, and uninstalling the app removes it completely.
Is Fracsy suitable for children?
Yes. It is rated for everyone, shows no advertising, has no account, no chat, no links out and collects no data, so there is nothing about a child’s use of it that anyone could see or share.
Why does the answer show as a fraction instead of a decimal?
Because that is the point of the app. Fracsy keeps exact values, so one third plus one quarter is seven twelfths rather than 0.5833333. The decimal and the percentage are always shown alongside the fraction, and you can tap either one to copy it.
Fracsy gave an answer I did not expect. What should I do?
Open the steps view: it shows the common denominator, each rewritten fraction and the simplification, so you can see exactly where your working and the app’s working diverge. If you still think the app is wrong, email us the expression you typed and we will look at it.
Will there be an iPhone version?
Not yet. The codebase can build for iOS, but we are releasing on Android first and want it to be right before we spread ourselves across two stores.
How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?
Email support@kumkumhomes.site. Tell us your device, your Android version, and what you did just before the problem. We reply within 2 working days.
