MCX Alerts privacy policy

com.kumkumhomes.mcxalerts.No sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. We store only what the app needs to deliver your alerts, and you can delete all of it from the app at any time.
The short version
MCX Alerts shows gold and silver futures prices and sends the price alerts you set. To do that it stores your alerts, the trades you choose to enter, and a token that lets us send notifications to your phone.
There is no sign-up: no name, email or password. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- A random identifier the app creates when first opened. It is how your account is recognised; it is not linked to your name or Google account.
- A push notification token, so alerts can reach your phone.
- The alerts you create, their notes, and the history of alerts that fired, including how long each took to reach you.
- Trades you enter yourself (contract, price, quantity, date), used to calculate your profit and loss. The app does not connect to any broker account.
- Rate board details a jeweller chooses to enter (shop name, city, phone number). These are shown on the public rate board and rate card you share.
- Your subscription status (trial, active or expired, and which plan). Payment itself is handled by Google Play; we never see card or UPI details.
- App version, device platform and IP address, recorded in server logs.
Why we use it
Only to run the app: to watch prices against your alerts and notify you, to calculate your positions, to show your rate board, to unlock the features you pay for, and to keep the service secure and fix problems.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the app. Each processes data on our behalf and for no other purpose:
- Google Play Billing, for subscriptions and payments.
- RevenueCat, which manages subscription status for us, keyed by the random identifier above.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which delivers push notifications.
- Cloudflare, the secure network proxy in front of our servers.
- Our server hosting provider, where account data is stored.
Market prices come from a market data source. Prices are not personal data.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
Your data is kept while you use the app. You can erase it at any time from the app: You, then Delete my data. That removes your alerts, alert history, trades, rate board and push tokens immediately.
Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging, then discarded. Deleting your data does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel that in Google Play.

Android permissions
Internet, to fetch prices and save your alerts. Notifications, to deliver alerts. Vibrate and wake lock, so an alert can buzz and ring. Do Not Disturb access is optional: if you grant it, alarm alerts can sound during Do Not Disturb. The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or storage access.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the servers is restricted to the developer.
Children
MCX Alerts is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

Your rights
You can see the data the app holds about you inside the app, and delete all of it from the app at any time. For anything else, including a copy of your data, email support@kumkumhomes.site. We respond within 2 working days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
